A.M. Cassandre designed this poster for Cycles Brillant in 1923, fusing together the styles of Cubism and Surrealism. His designs are memorable for their simple and clever graphic solutions, constantly taunting the detailed style of Art Nouveau. Cassandre stated, "A poster is to be viewed on the street." Merely wearing this art as a jersey is an affirmation and extension of the artist's original intent.
